Manns Travel Group is a family run business serving Kent and London, offering a range of luxury coaches for contract and private hire work.

Chris Jenkinson, Medway School Bus Manager, said “We’ve been keeping a close eye on the various suppliers of tracking equipment for over a year now and we have been listening to our customers carefully to find out what improvements we could offer in our schools services. It quickly became apparent that the ability to allow our customers to see where our buses are whilst in service on a contract would be of enormous value. The Public Web Pages feature offered by Pinpointers gives us exactly that.”

Manns have integrated the Public Web Pages directly into their own web site, making it easy for passengers to identify their route number, and with a simple mouse click, get instant visibility of the current location of that bus. It means passengers can plan their journeys more precisely, and avoid waiting in the rain if a bus is delayed in traffic.

Pinpointers’ integration with Coach Manager from Distinctive Systems makes it easy to make sure the correct bus is shown on the web page for each route. The system uses the data fed directly from Coach Manager, so any last minute allocation changes are reflected immediately on the web page.
